Your tour begins on the Buffalo River across from the original lighthouse, built in 1833, and continues on through Lake Erie and the Black Rock canal. Take a narrated sightseeing cruise and travel through four bodies of water, passing through the historic Black Rock Lock and Canal. Public cruises are available July 1st through Labor Day; call or book online. Private charters are available May through September; call for more information.

Due to Erie County Health Inspections and NYS Permits all food and beverage must be obtained from Buffalo Harbor Cruises and All Occasions Catering. Cruise back in time almost 200 years ago when Canal side was the home to dance halls, dive bars and ladies of the night. Our Sunset Cruises are not recommended for children under 13 years of age.

Buffalo Harbor Cruises sought out and acquired a third vessel, the Niagara Clipper. She was refitted and became the first dinner cruise vessel in Buffalo. There is a full bar on board all of our boats, cash/credit, that serves water, soda, beer, wine and mixed drinks.

We had our wedding on the Grand Lady Cruise and it was the most wonderful experience in our lives. Everything was perfect from the wait staff to the bartending. Even if I called a few hundred times, she was always helpful and professional. If anyone is considering this as a venue, on a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 20+.
